Denise Mirman

FOUNDING + MANAGING PARTNER

Denise Mirman is the managing shareholder of Friedman & Mirman. She handles all areas of family law, with an emphasis on cases with complex business valuations, “start-up” businesses, highly compensated executives, professional athletes, interests in privately held businesses and private equity firms, cryptocurrency valuations, “heritage” assets (involving generations of family wealth) and high conflict custody cases. While Denise is an experienced trial lawyer and has litigated cases throughout Ohio, she understands that litigation is not always the best solution, and she is an accomplished negotiator. Denise also acts as an arbitrator for other lawyers (alternative dispute resolution) in divorce cases. In addition, she has handled appeals of family law cases in appellate courts and in the Ohio Supreme Court.

As an Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) Board Certified Specialist in Family Law, Denise enjoys mentoring young lawyers in the Ohio Supreme Court’s Lawyer to Lawyer mentoring program.
